It is signed and professionally framed, appraised and donated by KIXE supporter Barbara in Butte County. When I say this piece is BY artist Will Tait, I mean the entire lithography process is done by him. These limited edition original lithographs created entirely by the artist we made available and our friend Barbara bought this one at a Gallery. No photochemical reproductive techniques are used. They are printed on 100% cotton rag paper with the finest lightfast inks. Each piece is pencil signed and numbered and the artist's personal chop mark is in the margin. The picture comes with artist information and bio from the gallery where it was purchased. Barbara then had it professionally framed and mounted.

ABOUT The ARTIST: Susan F. Greaves is a Louisiana native. She moved to Redding California in 1977. Her paintings are noted for their light and color. She uses classical methods of careful observation and direct execution to portray subjects ranging from florals and still life to landscapes and figures.

Art collector, horse breeder and ranch owner, Barbara from Butte County donated this amazing painting titled, "Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow. It is signed by its artist Bill Rabbit. It depicts a Native American perched on a hilltop with visions of Chiefs and Buffalo within the clouds. It is 33 and a half inches tall and 26 and a half inches wide in its grey wooden frame. Bill Rabbit is one of the most successful Native American artists in the world. He has received numerous awards and recognitions for his artwork, including the Oklahoma Heritage Award in 2001 and Master Artist at the Five Civilizes Tribes Museum in 1986. He received Artist of the Year at the 1989 Indian Arts and Crafts Association (IACA) wholesale market, where his poster, “Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow,” was selected as the official poster for the IACA and is the only poster in the history of the IACA to sell out. This picture was purchased from a gallery and comes with the artist bio from the showing.

This Painting titled "Orca" was donated by Barbara Silverman of Butte County. Barbara invested a lot of time and love to her Native American Art Collection and this one is a joy to present to you. Orca was created by female artist C J Wells and is part of her series called "Animal Spirits...Our Protectors" Barbara purchased "Orca" From the Feathers Gallery in Arizona in 1992. All the documentation and artist's bio from the purchase is included. This picture is a "Hand Pulled Lithograph" and is number 19 of a 150 lithograph series. The figure in this picture is of either the Tlingit or Haida peoples who had a very close kinship with the animal spirit of the "Blackfish" or "Killer Whale". In the frame it measures 41 1/2 inches wide by 47 inches tall. Wells applies many layers of paint to reveal the magical luminescence of skin and light. The colors are vibrant reds, blues, purples-colors that dance in the light. Details, such as beaded and feathered head-dress or traditional blanket, require many hours of work with a small paint brush. Wells was born in New Mexico of Arikara Indian, Spanish and English Ancestry. She studied at UCLA, Los Angeles City College and Eastern College in Billings, Montana. Her work is in extensive private and public collections, including the Institute of Native American Art Museum and the Heye Foundation.

Crafted by Artisan David Hill, this one-of-a-kind collectible birdhouse is fashioned with artifacts, collectibles, and jewelry that were gathered from farms, ranches and antique stores located in California. This particular birdhouse still has it's blue ribbon on it from winning first place at the Caruthers District Fair. Also included is the artist bio and story of his design process. It is titled "Bloom" and is part of a print series titled "My Hometown" each paying tribute to sentimental places Jake grew up loving about Chico. The cheery white or pink blossoms of Chico's iconic almonds are one of the first signs of Spring. This 4-color print is very special to Jake; he grew up running through the orchards, and this piece includes the word "saudade" which means homesick in the margin. It is professionally framed and mounted. About the Art: The Southwestern art of Ed Posa is dramatic and bold. He uses a kaleidoscope of color to create traditional western themes with a modern, stylized approach. Posa's paintings are mixed media works, combinations of vibrant watercolor and gouache. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Posa has painted since childhood.
